ArrowFin is a financial services company specifically focused on the trading world. We create and optimize in-house technological solutions that directly assist our clients with their trading activities on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with English proficiency and at least 3 years of experience to drive end-to-end quality across our cross-platform trading ecosystem. While your primary focus will be our native mobile apps (iOS & Android), you will also validate web-based trading terminals and administrative portals, ensuring complete data parity and state synchronization across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Mobile-First Quality Assurance : Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing on iOS and Android devices, focusing on touch responsiveness, real-time streaming charts, and push notifications.
• Web & Cross-Platform Validation: Perform cross-browser testing (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) on our web-based risk trading dashboard, ensuring data parity and state synchronization between web and mobile sessions.
• Risk & Trading Domain Testing: Validate critical financial logic, including order execution types, margin calls, position exposure calculations, real-time P&L updates, and risk limit alerts.
• Network & Edge-Case Inspection: Capture and inspect API requests/responses, WebSockets, and payload data across both web and mobile environments using tools like Postman, Charles Proxy, and Chrome DevTools.
• Defect Management: Author detailed, easy-to-reproduce bug reports in Jira with clear steps, network logs, OS/browser details, and video/screenshot recordings.
• Agile Collaboration: Partner with product managers, financial analysts, and developers during sprint planning to assess risk and write test cases before code is written.

Required Skills

• B2 English proficiency (both written and spoken) 
• 3+ years of manual QA experience with a strong focus on native mobile apps (iOS/Android), plus proven experience testing web applications.
• Solid understanding of fintech, trading, or risk management concepts (e.g., market orders, limit orders, leverage, real-time data feeds).
• High proficiency with network and device inspection tools (Chrome DevTools, Postman, Charles Proxy/Fiddler, Xcode, Android Logcat).
• Proven experience verifying multi-platform user journeys (e.g., starting an action on web and receiving/completing it on mobile).
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, boundary value analysis, equity/derivatives lifecycle, and Agile/Scrum processes.
• Strong experience with Jira, sprint collaboration, high attention to detail, and proactive communication.
