3️⃣ 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, building scalable distributed systems with Java-based technologies.

Required Skills / Experience:

💼 Senior Java/Node/React Engineer

• 6+ years of experience with Java, Spring Framework, REST APIs.
• Strong background in architecture and system design for distributed systems.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka or similar streaming platforms).
• Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis, DynamoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with AWS (hands-on preferred) and cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps best practices, monitoring and alerting.
• Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).
• Proven ability to work with leadership teams and influence technical decisions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a technology leader across multiple teams, owning architecture, best practices, and operational excellence.
• Support the Director in defining and executing the long-term technical strategy for the division.
• Collaborate with business, product, and program leaders to understand use cases, define solutions, and communicate technical trade-offs.
• Design and evolve event-driven and microservices architectures ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Lead and participate in code reviews, setting high engineering standards.
• Ensure secure coding practices, system resilience, observability, and cost-efficient solutions.
• Mentor and coach engineering teams to build robust, scalable, high-availability systems.

📌 We offer:

• Contract type: Permanent (Contrato a término indefinido + beneficios).
• Direct contract in Colombia (not contractor).
• Salary: Depending on experience. Exp: 5+ years Up to $10'750.000 COP monthly
• Payment in COP.
