🌟 Position Mission:

The Loan Operations Supervisor is responsible for loan documentation, funding, disbursements, and other loan processing activities. This role is also responsible for processing investments, foreign exchange deals, federal funds overnights, loan participations, letters of credit/issuance and negotiations, lines of credit, documentary & DIR collections processed through the Datapro e-IBS system. The Loan Operations Supervisor drives operational excellence, ensures strong control execution, and partners with key stakeholders cross-functionally. Maintains full compliance with regulations like OFAC, BSA, AML, Regulations E, and other regulations. Responsible for ensuring a culture of accountability and a mindset of continuous improvement. 

📌 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop the Loan Operations Specialist with clear goals, KPIs, and career pathways

• Foster a culture of results-driven performance, accountability, inclusion, continuous improvement, and customer focus

• Process loans, participations, line of credits including payments and renewals

• Process letters of credit issuance/negotiations 

• Review the letters of credit documents for negotiation (first checker)

• Prepare SWIFT messages for letters of credit

• Process documentary, DIR collections, and process investments

🎓 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

• 7 to 10 years of U.S. banking experience in an operations role responsible for supervising loan operations and letters of credit

• 7 to  10 to years of U.S. banking regulations experience like Electronic Funds Transfer Act Regulation E, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Regulations, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA Patriot Act, amongst other state and federal regulatory requirements preferred, but not required

• Preferred but not required, experience with:

o Datapro e-IBS Core Banking System

o Ocean System’s Fedlink and EDD Services

o Fedline & Swift Certifications
