Job Title: Staff Accountant

Position Summary

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join a dynamic finance team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates exceptional organization skills, and is eager to grow within the field of accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain journal entries in compliance with GAAP standards

• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and related schedules

• Assist in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) operations

• Collaborate on internal and external audit preparation, ensuring timely and accurate documentation

• Maintain up-to-date and organized accounting records and files

• Propose and support improvements to optimize accounting procedures

• Provide assistance with tax-related documentation and liaise with external tax consultants

• Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and generate custom reports as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• 1–3 years of professional accounting experience

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

• Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, etc.)

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in industries such as real estate, investment management, or professional services
