We are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy Helpdesk Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the setup and maintenance of hardware and software, resolving technical issues efficiently, and creating clear documentation for unique cases. We value fast learners with excellent communication skills and strong stress management abilities to thrive in our dynamic, international environment.


Job Conditions

  • Indefinite-term contract.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday, from 15:00 to 23:00 (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM).
  • 100% on-site located in the Chicó Norte neighborhood.
  • A private shuttle service will be provided to take you safely to your home after your shift. Alternatively, you will receive a fuel allowance if you use your own transportation.
  • Monthly gross salary of 3,000,000 COP + full statutory legal benefits + legal transportation allowance.


Key Responsibilities


  • Install and configure company computer hardware, operating systems, and applications, including office equipment and networking devices (computers, printers, WiFi, video/sound equipment in meeting rooms, servers, etc.).
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues, providing timely IT assistance to employees.
  • Manage user controls, including assigning necessary roles upon employee onboarding and executing account closures upon dismissal.
  • Track and manage support tickets within the Jira system, ensuring SLAs and deadlines are strictly met, and escalating issues to other departments when necessary.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers for services, equipment repairs, or installations.
  • Cooperate with various internal teams to ensure the quality and efficiency of the company’s IT processes and support systems.
  • Participate in training new team members and providing clear guidance on hardware and software support procedures.
  • Document unusual cases and technical issues, developing policies and procedures to prevent future occurrences and ensure consistent handling across the team.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle management of IT hardware inventory.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized storage and workspaces for all IT equipment and tools.
  • Carry out other duties according to the manager’s directives.
Requirements


  • Proven experience in the role of Technical Support Specialist, User Support Specialist, or Helpdesk Specialist.
  • English B2+
  • Proactivity, strong communication skills, the ability to learn quickly, and a collaborative team mindset.
  • A strong interest in resolving both standard and non-standard technical problems.
  • A high sense of responsibility and excellent time management skills.
  • Practical experience working with Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
  • Eagerness to continuously learn and upgrade your skills through training, self-study, and hands-on experience.
