Controller – Family Office

📍 Medellín / Bogotá — Hybrid Full-time (US Calendar)

At Shareholder Services we're looking for a skilled Controller who can lead accounting, reporting, and financial management with accuracy and integrity across a growing, multi-entity family office.

🚀What you'll do

• Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, including reconciliations and financial statements
• Build and maintain internal controls and accounting processes that scale with a high-growth, multi-entity structure
• Manage cash, banking operations, and reconciliations across multiple entities
• Support the President and CFO with financial analysis on investments, budgeting, and forecasting
• Lead process improvement and adopt AI-enabled tools to increase accuracy and efficiency
• Directly manage and mentor a team of 3 accounting professionals

🎯What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA and/or Master's a plus)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally spanning individual, trust, LLC, partnership, corporate, or investment/private equity accounting
• 2–3+ years directly managing and developing accounting teams
• Strong US GAAP knowledge, multi-entity consolidations, and intercompany accounting
• Experience with NetSuite and/or QuickBooks
• Prior experience with US-based or multinational companies
• English B2+ Must communicate clearly and effectively.
