We are seeking a Credit Notes Analyst to ensure the correct generation, validation, and registration of credit notes, guaranteeing compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and financial controls. This role acts as a key point of analysis and validation, investigating and compiling the necessary supporting documentation, managing approvals, and ensuring that credit notes are properly recorded in SAP, aligned with the corresponding debit transactions, minimizing financial risks and ensuring accounting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate, compile, and validate the supporting documentation necessary for creating credit notes.
• Analyze the information received to ensure its integrity, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies.
• Identify discrepancies or inconsistencies and coordinate their resolution with the corresponding areas (sales, logistics, plant, etc.).
• Coordinate and manage the credit note approval process according to the current authorization matrix.
• Maintain traceability and proper filing of approvals for audit purposes.
• Create credit notes in SAP in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure the correct offsetting between credit notes and related debits.
• Perform periodic controls to guarantee that transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
• Identify and escalate deviations or financial risks.
• Prepare and provide supporting documentation during internal and external audits.
• Propose process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risks. Identify opportunities for improvement in processes related to credit notes, actively participating in initiatives for automation, optimization and standardization of procedures and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Professionals in Accounting, Business Administration or related fields.
• 1-2 years of experience in Credit Notes, Accounts Receivable or related functions.
• Fluent English communication skills (B2+ or C1).
• Experience working with SAP or another ERP.
