About the role

In this position, you will ensure the uptime, scalability, performance, and operational excellence of our global network, critical facilities, cloud environments, and advanced HPC/AI compute stacks. 

We are looking for a Head of NOC to build, lead and continuously evolve the centralized operations organization responsible for detecting, coordinating and restoring service across:

• Network Connectivity Operations

• Compute Infrastructure Operations

• Critical Facilities Operations

This is a bilingual leadership role requiring full professional fluency in both English and Spanish, written and spoken. The Head of NOC must communicate effectively with local operations teams, international customers, vendors, partners and executive stakeholders.

About you

• Networking & Connectivity: Design, engineer, and optimize complex IP/MPLS networks and optical transmission systems.

• Data Center & Critical Facilities: Oversee data center infrastructure and critical physical facilities (power, cooling, redundancy, and availability standards).

• Next-Gen Tech Infrastructure: Deploy, scale, and manage Cloud Infrastructure, AI Infrastructure, and High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments.

• Site Operations: Drive continuous site operations, vendor management, preventative maintenance, incident response, and SLA adherence.

Each operational domain is led by dedicated Operational Coordinators. The Head of NOC ensures these capabilities operate as one system and remain closely integrated with Site Ops, Engineering, Product and CX.

Required Qualifications

• More than 10 years of experience operating mission-critical infrastructure environments.

• More than 5 years leading large-scale 24x7 operational organizations.

• Proven experience operating services under demanding SLA commitments.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary NOC or infrastructure operations organizations.
• Experience managing Major Incidents and executive operational response.
• Experience designing scalable operating models and governance frameworks.
• Experience integrating centralized operations with Site Operations during incidents, maintenance and restoration.
• Experience defining ownership, escalation and handover models across teams with different reporting structures.
• Experience building staffing, shift coverage and on-call models.
• Experience maintaining customer and executive communication during service-impacting incidents.
• Experience partnering with Customer Experience and Product in ongoing service operations.
• Experience contributing to or leading WBR, MBR and QBR operating cadences.
• Experience using operational and customer evidence to improve products, services and operations.
• Strong systems-thinking and organizational-design capabilities.
• Strong leadership, cross-functional influence and executive decision-making skills.
• Full professional fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Full professional fluency in Spanish, written and spoken.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, partners, vendors, technical teams, Site Operations and executive stakeholders in both languages.

Preferred Qualifications

Significant operational experience in at least two of the following domains:

• IP and MPLS networks.

• Optical transmission networks.
