💼 Now Hiring: Identity & Access Management (IAM) Security Engineer

📍 Medellín, Colombia Hybrid (On-site leadership presence required) Full-time ABATECH

At ABATECH, our Infrastructure Team secures and enables the organization’s core IT platforms across a multi-site healthcare environment. We are looking for an experienced IAM Security Engineer to own and evolve our identity and access management services, with a primary focus on Okta, SSO architecture, lifecycle automation, and Zero Trust enforcement.

This is a high-impact, service-ownership role within a regulated healthcare environment.

🌟 What You’ll Do

• Serve as the technical and operational owner of IAM services.
• Architect, configure, and administer Okta as the enterprise identity provider.
• Design and manage SSO integrations using SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM, LDAP.
• Own identity lifecycle automation (Joiner, Mover, Leaver).
• Enforce Zero Trust and least-privilege access models.
• Lead access governance, periodic access reviews, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Define IAM security controls aligned with regulatory healthcare requirements.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Security, HR, and Application Engineering.
• Establish KPIs, SLAs, and security monitoring for authentication services.
• Support audits, compliance, and incident response initiatives.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 4–5+ years of experience in IAM or Security Engineering roles.
• Deep hands-on experience administering Okta.
• Strong understanding of identity protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM, LDAP).
• Experience with access governance and enterprise-scale role design.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture principles.
• Experience in regulated or healthcare environments preferred.
• Relevant certifications (Okta, CISSP, CISM) preferred.
• Advanced English (B2+ required).
