About Those Coffee People
Those Coffee People (TCP) is an international specialty coffee company exporting direct-trade Colombian coffee to clients worldwide. Since 2018, we have supplied green coffee in medium and large volumes and are now expanding into a B2B e-commerce platform for green and roasted coffee in micro and small quantities.
To support this growth, we are hiring a Junior Sales Assistant / Business Development Associate to strengthen our sales operations and develop into a future revenue-owning role.
Role Overview
This is a developmental commercial position designed to build the skills required to become a full Client Relationship Manager within approximately 8–12 months, based on performance.

- Portfolio management
- Operational coordination
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, commercially curious, and comfortable working with numbers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Management & Lead Qualification
- Manage a portfolio of your own clients guaranteeing professional and structured communication for maximum client satisfaction
- Manage inbound inquiries from WhatsApp and other communication channels and qualify leads based on internal criteria
- Prepare quotes and pricing proposals and process orders through our fulfillment system
2. Sales Support & Administration
- Support senior sales team members with structured administrative task, CRM management, and any other related tasks as business needs grow.
- Ensure end to end success of all client orders from invoice creation to exportation and shipping documents, through final delivery and logistics follow up.
- Coordinate time-sensitive client requirements with the operations team.
- Manage our occasional unscheduled in person sales from our office in Manila, Medellin.
3. Client Material Inventory & Quality Support
- Manage roasted coffee client label inventory
- Coordinate reorders of client material and labels when needed
- Perform basic quality checks on branding materials
Development Path
This role is structured for progression into a full Client Relationship Manager role within 8–12 months, based on:
- Demonstrated commercial judgment
- Accuracy in pricing and CRM management
- Client communication quality
- Accountability and initiative
- Ability to manage increasing account complexity
Qualifications
- Desire to grow in a client facing role
- Strong ability to follow written instructions
- Working proficiency in English (C1 preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational discipline
- Comfort with basic high school-level math
- Confidence using Google Sheets or Excel
- Ability to follow structured processes
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks fully
Preferred:
- Experience in sales, administration, or client-facing roles
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Google Sheets, Canva, or similar tools
- Experience working in an American-style business environment
This is a full-time position (Monday–Friday).
Because we serve international clients, flexibility may occasionally be required during U.S. business hours or during time-sensitive commercial situations.
Professional responsiveness and accountability are expected.
Compensation
3,000,000-4,000,000 COP Based on contract type, quarterly KPI bonus, and annual profit share
20 Paid Vacation days annually
