Paralegal remote

At Solvo Global we are looking for a Paralegal in Colombia! 

Paralegal 

• Remote in Barranquilla, Bogotá, Cali, Medellin, Bucaramanga or Armenia. 
• Shift days, hours and time zone:  Monday - Friday 8:00 Am a 5:00 Pm COL
• English required: 9.0 to 10.0
• Level of study required: A diploma or degree and/or a combination of relevant experience.
  

Job description:  We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegals to join our team, providing vital support to a client specializing in personal injury law. This role requires a unique blend of case management and paralegal expertise, with a focus on pre-litigation and litigation support for personal injury cases.

Responsibilities:  

• Call clients and insurances
• Upload information to MyCase 
• Confirm medical providers
• Update TN, schedule DME
• Prepare lawsuits
• Send email/fax to Insurances
• Schedule Discovery Session

Skills and qualifications - Hard and soft skills:

• Entrepreneurial attitude with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in an administrative role is an asset.
• Result-oriented and creative.
• Able to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
• MUST have a background having worked for a law firm before (ideally in the US/Canada/Australia/NZ/the UK)
• Preferred to have a background working in personal injury law or at least litigation. (At least 1 year)
