The Mission

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to take immediate ownership of our "Intelligence & Experience" product lines: EdgeClear Catalyst (Customer Hub), EdgeClear Insights (Trade Analytics), and EdgeClear DNA (Predictive AI).

You will step in as the "right hand" to the Project Manager and stakeholders, accelerating the transition from high-level strategic vision to executable engineering tickets. You must be seasoned enough to take a 1-hour strategic briefing and return with a comprehensive Product Requirements Document (PRD) and a groomed backlog without needing daily hand-holding. We will provide training in trading and the capital markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Accelerate Discovery: Lead the requirements gathering for EdgeClear Catalyst (Community/CMS) and EdgeClear Watch (Analytics). Translate complex financial concepts (e.g., MFE/MAE, Margin Utilization) into clear logic for developers.

• Own the Documentation: Author detailed PRDs, Functional Specifications, and User Stories. You will define the "Golden Path" for user onboarding, loyalty (EdgeClear Quest), and risk alerts.

• Bridge the Tech Gap: Work directly with developers using our specific stack (Laravel/NestJS for data, React for frontend, Invision Community for CMS). You must understand the constraints and capabilities of these technologies.

• Data Validation: Since you own EdgeClear Insights/DNA, you will need to validate that the analytics being built actually match the math. (e.g., “Does the SQL query for 'Daily P&L' match the customer statement?”)

• Backlog Management: Maintain a healthy pipeline of "Ready for Dev" tickets in Jira, ensuring Squads B (Integration) and C (Intelligence) never run out of work.

The "Must-Haves" (Requirements)

• Communication: B2 or better English language. Clear, correct and confident communication with stakeholders, Product Managers and others is key for this position.

• Experience: 5+ Years as a Technical BA or Product Owner, preferably in Fintech, Trading, or SaaS.

• Technical Proficiency:

• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL/MySQL) or Python to query data and verify logic.

• Ability to read/understand API documentation (REST/WebSocket) to map integrations between Catalyst and the FCMs.

• Platform Savvy: Experience working with CMS platforms (Invision Community, WordPress, or similar) where custom dev meets out-of-the-box features.

• Autonomy: Proven track record of running discovery phases independently. You solve problems before bringing them to management. We can then review and help you work out anything that isn’t clear.

The "Nice-to-Haves"

• Familiarity with trading of any kind (crypto, equities, options, forex, etc.).

• Background in Gamification/Loyalty Programs.

• Experience in a PHP (Laravel) / Node.js (NestJS) development environment.
