Initial Requirements to Apply

1️⃣ B2 English level or higher (interviews and daily work are primarily in English).

2️⃣ Must reside in Colombia and have legal authorization to work in the country (Bogotá candidates only).

3️⃣ 5–7+ years of professional experience in software development, including experience leading engineering teams.

Professional Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing and mentoring development teams.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with engineers, product owners, stakeholders, and clients.
• Client-facing experience, with the ability to align technical delivery with business objectives.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Experience managing delivery in Agile environments (Sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives).
• Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines effectively.

Technical Skills

• 6+ years experience with React (frontend development).
• 6+ years on solid backend development experience using .NET (C# / APIs / microservices).
• Advanced knowledge of SQL (queries, optimization, data handling).
• Experience designing and implementing system integrations (APIs, event-driven systems).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of Azure and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience building and maintaining reporting and dashboards solutions.
• Exposure or knowledge of AI agents or AI-driven solutions is a plus.

Hands-on experience or familiarity with:

• Leading and managing development teams (task assignment, mentoring, performance).
• Software architecture and scalable system design.
• Code reviews, quality assurance, and enforcing development best practices.
• Troubleshooting production issues and optimizing system performance.
• Application modernization and technical debt management.
• Collaborative development using Git and modern workflows.
