💼 Now Hiring: Senior Network Engineer – Enterprise & Cloud Architecture

📍 Medellín, Colombia Hybrid (On-site leadership presence required) Full-time ABATECH

At ABATECH, our Infrastructure Team designs and operates a scalable enterprise network supporting 70+ retail clinics, multiple headquarters, and cloud environments across AWS and Azure.

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to own the architecture, scalability, reliability, and operational enablement of our enterprise network platform. This is a strategic, service-owning role focused on design, automation, vendor governance, and hybrid cloud networking — not daily ticket execution.

🌟 What You’ll Do

• Architect and maintain enterprise-grade wired and wireless LAN solutions.
• Design and manage WAN connectivity using SASE and private networking.
• Own enterprise network architecture across on-prem and cloud (AWS & Azure).
• Lead VPC/VNET design, routing, segmentation, hybrid connectivity, and VPN.
• Administer and standardize Aryaka, Meraki, and Ubiquiti platforms.
• Implement NAC, RADIUS, certificate-based authentication, and Zero Trust principles.
• Define network standards, automation frameworks, and configuration baselines.
• Establish network KPIs, SLAs, uptime reporting, and performance dashboards.
• Lead vendor relationships, circuit lifecycle, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Enable Infrastructure Operations through documentation, tooling, and governance.
• Support expansion initiatives including new clinic openings and relocations.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in network engineering or architecture roles.
• Strong hands-on experience in enterprise LAN/WAN and cloud networking.
• Experience with SASE architectures and secure WAN design.
• Solid expertise in AWS and Azure networking fundamentals.
• Experience with NAC, VPN, Zero Trust, firewall segmentation.
• Network automation experience (Python, PowerShell, Ansible preferred).
• Experience managing vendors, circuits, and carrier contracts.
• Advanced English (B2+ required).
• Experience in regulated or healthcare environments preferred.
