As an HR Business Partner Staff, you will be a strategic advisor and a catalyst for initiatives that enhance HR processes and establish best practices to drive business efficiency. You will serve as a key partner to senior leaders, ensuring that talent initiatives enable Team Viva to attract, develop, engage, and retain top talent. You will work closely with the HRBP Staff Director, Centers of Expertise (COE), and HR Shared Services to implement HR programs and provide continuous support, anticipating opportunities and defining strategies that strengthen business performance while fostering a culture of growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders, providing coaching and guidance.

  • Translate organizational knowledge into strategic HR initiatives.

  • Lead talent development programs for leaders and staff.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive culture aligned with #TeamViva’s values.

  • Implement change management strategies that support business transformation.

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues effectively.

  • Influence leadership decision-making by considering HR factors and risks from early stages.

  • Partner with COEs and Shared Services to involve subject matter experts as needed.

  • Design and implement engagement and retention strategies based on trend analysis.

  • Monitor HR metrics and recommend improvements based on data and people analytics.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Academic background in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or related fields.

  • 5+ years of experience in HR business-facing roles.

  • Bilingual (Spanish–English) – required.

  • Proficiency in XLS, CRM, ATS, and People Analytics Software.

  • Strong experience in employee relations and conflict resolution.

  • Knowledge in talent management, leadership development, and succession planning.

  • Ability to influence, coach, and consult professionals at all levels.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Adaptability to dynamic and constantly changing environments.

  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.

  • Passion for building thriving work environments where teams succeed.

  • Ability to switch seamlessly between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
