About this role:

Are you passionate about numbers, detail-oriented, and eager to grow your career in payroll? At Viva, we’re looking for a Payroll Analyst to join our People & Culture team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll processes  delivering a seamless experience to our employees. This is a 6-month role with potential to become permanent, offering you the chance to make an impact in one of the fastest-growing airlines in the region.

Your responsabilities will be:

• Review and calculate regular and extraordinary payroll (bonus, travel expenses, PTU).
• Validate and update employee bank account records.
• Manage payments of grocery vouchers and payroll-related contributions (IMSS, FONACOT, Infonavit, payroll tax).
• Calculate severance payments and perform year-end adjustments.
• Reconcile and validate payroll CFDIs.
• Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll-related questions.

Our ideal candidate:

• 1–2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or tax-related roles.
• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Skilled in advanced Excel (formulas, validations) and familiar with SAP.
• Understands payroll contributions and institutions such as IMSS, FONACOT, and Infonavit.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to accuracy.
• Provides support and solutions to employees regarding payroll questions.
