We’re looking for a Marketing Program Manager, Events to take ownership of our event program. Reporting to the Director of Event Marketing, you will be the primary strategist and budget owner for our portfolio of in-person and virtual events. This role is a key driver of pipeline generation, brand visibility, and customer engagement. You will be responsible for translating business objectives into a high-impact event strategy and leading its execution by collaborating with key stakeholders across sales, product, and marketing.
What You'll Do:
Strategy & Leadership
- Lead the event program strategy in alignment with pipeline growth, brand awareness, and customer/partner engagement goals.
- Manage the day-to-day of the annual events budget, making data-driven recommendations to ensure a strong return on investment (ROI).
- Collaborate with the Director of Event Marketing and cross-functional leaders to define event narratives, select key themes, and secure speaker participation.
- Maintain and communicate an integrated events calendar and strategy across the organization.
Program Managements & Execution
- Lead the full lifecycle of assigned events, from initial ideation and goal setting to post-event analysis.
- Direct the execution of all pre- and post-event campaigns (email, social, nurture workflows), ensuring seamless delivery and alignment with goals.
- Leverage AI throughout the events: pre-event registration matching to our ABM list, tailoring content to attendees, suggesting event titles, email communications to registrants, post event analysis and recommended follow-up content
- Manage all event logistics, including vendor negotiation, contracts, booth design, branded collateral, and on-site staff coordination. Leverage AI to analyze proposals, contracts and potential cost savings or advantageous terms in negotiations.
- Ensure all event activities are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to key performance indicators (KPIs). Review dashboards to share event performance and recommend strategy or execution adjustments for future events
- Leverage AI for data-driven recommendation: predict future events and forecast attendance, budget allocation, or locations
- Support up to 25% travel for key events.
Collaboration & Enablement
- Act as event specific primary point of contact for sales and revenue operations, ensuring smooth lead handoff, follow-up, and reporting.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive event toolkits, talking points, and tailored enablement/assets for the sales team and other stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and partners to ensure a cohesive and successful event program.
Measurement & Optimization
- Track and report on event performance, including registrations, engagement, pipeline, and ROI.
- Use data-driven insights, AI-powered tools and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize future events for maximum impact.
Who You Are
- Experience: 5-7 years of related experience in marketing, events, or communications, with proven success in leading and managing event programs.
- Strategic Leader: A strong ability to develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy that drives business outcomes.
- Financial Acumen: Proven experience managing budgets, with a clear understanding of ROI.
- Project Management: An expert at managing multiple large-scale projects, timelines, and budgets simultaneously.
- Collaborator: A natural leader who is comfortable working cross-functionally and building strong, long-term partnerships across the organization.
- Communicator: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Marketo, Salesforce, and event platforms (Goldcast a plus). Proficiency in Google Suite (Gemini is a plus) is required.
- Results-Driven: A track record of successfully managing event programs to meet or exceed business goals.
